Richard Clarey

I qualified as a Pharmacist in 1992 and have worked in both High Street Pharmacy and in Industry, spending the past 16 years working in primary care. I was initially based at Newholme Hospital covering the High Peak and Dales practices before working as a Pharmacist for a practice in Whaley Bridge, where my roles were varied, assisting with medication queries, helping with discharge queries, reviewing results and seeing patients in clinics.

Outside work, I like to run and occasionally take part in 10km events and have done half marathons in the past. I also like to walk in the hills whenever time allows and if the weather is against me, I enjoy a good film or a chance to go to the theatre
